Description

After a successful return from a 20-year retirement with the album 'Resurgence' in 2019, the voice of The Hollies – Allan Clarke – is back with a new album, 'I'll Never Forget', released on April 7, 2023. This album reunites Allan with his old Hollies bandmate, Graham Nash, known from Crosby, Stills and Nash. During the pandemic, they began writing together again after over 40 years, resulting in the catchy track 'Buddy's Back', a tribute to the rock'n'roll legend after whom The Hollies are named. Graham's distinctive harmonies are present throughout the album, but this is very much Allan's record, addressing themes of spirituality, redemption, and romance, as in 'The Presence of You', the first love song Allan has written for his wife Jennifer after 59 years of marriage.
