Intermundia is the second album by Italian pianist and composer Olivia Belli, released on February 23, 2024, under XXIM Records. This album transcends her deep connection with nature to explore its spiritual side, known as the "world of thin places"—locations where heaven and earth nearly meet. Belli draws inspiration from eight sites near her home in Le Marche, Central Italy, with each composition reflecting the unique atmosphere of these places. The album features collaborations with violinist Louisa Fuller and violist John Metcalfe, adding depth and texture to her delicate piano compositions. Intermundia invites listeners on an introspective journey through soundscapes that bridge the tangible with the transcendent.
