This hidden gem showcases Coles' soulful trumpet in a dynamic sextet featuring tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson, alto saxophonist and flutist Leo Wright, pianist Duke Pearson, bassist Bob Cranshaw, and drummers Walter Perkins and Pete La Roca. The album includes five original compositions by Pearson that push hard bop to new heights. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl edition is stereo, all-analog, remastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
