Description

'Piece of Mind' is pianist Simon Denizart's fifth album, released on March 29, 2024. This eight-part orchestral project offers a profound introspective journey, blending jazz, classical music, and electronic elements. Denizart's melodic and rhythmic style is supported by virtuoso musicians: Elli Miller Maboungou on percussion, Michel Medrano Brindis on drums, and Jonathan Arseneau on electric bass, which occasionally sounds like an electric guitar thanks to effects. Approximately half of the tracks are enriched by a string trio, adding a cinematic dimension to the music. The album is available in an elegant Digipak packaging.
