'La Bohème' is an album by André van Duin, set for release on November 22, 2024. This album is inspired by the French chansons of Charles Aznavour, with André personally translating 12 songs into Dutch, preserving their original meaning while adding a contemporary twist. The package includes an 80-page book with a foreword by Matthijs Van Nieuwkerk, featuring interviews with André van Duin, producer Eric van Tijn, chanson expert Rob Kemps, and Boudewijn de Groot. The album features the duet 'Een Meisje Van 16' with Boudewijn de Groot. The book, authored by music journalist Robert Haagsma, offers biographies of André van Duin and Charles Aznavour, as well as stories behind the original songs. 'La Bohème' is André van Duin's second album dedicated to the repertoire of a single artist, following 'Van Duin Zingt Sonneveld'.
