'Die fragmentierte Wahrnehmung' is the tenth album in the Wohlhauser Edition on the NEOS label, presenting eight works for various chamber music ensembles. The title piece, 'Concertino No. 1 for flute and ensemble,' and 'Concertino No. 2 for clarinet and ensemble' are the most expansive compositions on this CD. Additionally, it includes 'Piano Trio No. 2,' 'Trios for soprano, violin, and piano Nos. 1 and 2,' and 'Duo for flute and cello No. 2.' The album concludes with the solo piece 'Marmamorais,' dedicated to flutist Claudia Weissbarth, who also recorded it for this CD. In 'Die fragmentierte Wahrnehmung' and both trios, René Wohlhauser set his own poems to music.
