'Bardo Abgrund Temple' is the debut studio album by Fungal Abyss, a psychedelic improvisational project from Seattle. Originally released on cassette in 2011, the album was recorded during lengthy, unedited jam sessions under the influence of the sacred Teónanácatl mushrooms. The result is an intense, lysergic heavy-psych journey filled with screaming, echoing guitars, spiraling synthesizers, and crashing drums. The 2017 CD release comes in a stylish digipak and includes a bonus track, enhancing the already immersive experience.
