Description

Ola Gjeilo, one of the most frequently performed choral composers, presents his new album 'Dreamweaver', released on September 29, 2023. This album combines Gjeilo's love for his native Norway with his unique musical style, often described as cinematic and evocative. 'Dreamweaver' features two new multi-movement works, 'The Road' and 'Dreamweaver', reflecting Norwegian landscapes and culture. The album is recorded in collaboration with the Royal Holloway Choir and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Rupert Gough. Gjeilo's piano improvisations add depth and emotional resonance to the music, creating a captivating listening experience.
