'Chapel Porth Beach' is the latest album from acclaimed Welsh singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph, set for release on October 25, 2024. The album features the title track inspired by the story of Marc and Vicky Murphy, rescued by the RNLI, celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2024. Additionally, the album offers two new songs: 'Will You Come and Get Me?' in memory of six-year-old Hind Rajab from Gaza, and 'Getting Older', reminiscent of Neil Young's style. Martyn also re-records two of his earlier songs: 'Wake Me Up' from 2003 and 'This Fragile World' from 2005, giving them new sound and emotion. The album cover features a beautiful photograph by renowned Canadian photographer Kathy Richardson. This album is a must-have for fans of folk and introspective music.
