'Anchor Points' is the debut album of the New York-based jazz quartet comprising pianist Russell Kranes, guitarist Alex Levine, bassist Sam Weber, and drummer Jay Sawyer. Released on June 7, 2024, the album offers a blend of original compositions and standards, presented in two configurations: a trio (piano, guitar, bass) and a quartet with the addition of drums. This approach pays homage to legendary trios like the Oscar Peterson Trio and the Nat King Cole Trio.
