'Punk Moon' is the fourth album by the French vocalist and composer Claudia Solal and pianist Benjamin Moussay, who have been collaborating for over twenty years. Recorded in November 2023 at Studio Sextan, this album features ten original tracks with evocative titles such as 'Slow War', 'Tomorrow I Sleep', and 'Battle Dress'. The music on 'Punk Moon' blends orchestral pop songs with dreamy and chimerical elements, characterized by abundant silences and minimalist arrangements. Solal's acoustic vocal performance intertwines with Moussay's electronic keyboards, creating an organic and fluid sound that transcends genre boundaries. The album is set for release in March 2025 under the Jazzdor Series label.
