Heather Nova releases her 13th album, "Breath and Air," on V2 Records. This collection of evocative songs is rich in melody, lyrics, and arrangements, with Heather's signature voice as strong and ethereal as ever. The album envelops listeners in a timeless atmosphere, inviting them to momentarily forget everything while simultaneously returning to themselves. Heather wrote the songs on "Breath and Air" over the past two years and spent four weeks in the Devon countryside (UK), recording the tracks in an enchanting studio with Chris Bond (Ben Howard). Many of the songs explore themes of love, loss, and longing—recurring motifs in her life—reflecting the search for wholeness, healing, and meaning. She continually revisits these themes, examining them from different angles through time and music. It's an ongoing journey that shows no sign of reaching a destination. Her songs are documents of that journey.
