'Fastingen-92' is an album by Swedish artist Daniel Ögren, set for CD release on September 22, 2023. This unique musical endeavor blends South American folk music, soul, Nordic folk music, and film soundtracks, creating a dreamlike and transformative atmosphere. The album features the track 'Idag' with ethereal vocals by Anna Ahnlund, which has gained cult status and inspired the creation of the Dina Ögon project. Tracks like 'Annalena' and 'Kristinehamn by Night (for Christopher)' offer mysterious and hypnotic sounds, while 'Maj (for Tintin)' and 'Picasso' delve into Scandi-Balearic melodies. Daniel recorded and mixed most of the album himself, with drummer Josefin Runsteen guesting on 'Idag'. This edition includes the bonus track 'April', previously available only digitally.
