Description

HUBBLE DREAMS is an innovative album by renowned pianist Stéphan Oliva and double bassist Sébastien Boisseau, released on November 1, 2024. This project blends spontaneous improvisation with meticulous post-production, creating a unique musical experience. Over a three-day recording session at La Buissonne Studios, the artists crafted five 45-minute sequences comprising entirely improvised pieces. Subsequently, themes such as Tony Williams's "There Comes a Time" and Neil Young's "Dead Man" were incorporated into the project. The result is an album that transcends traditional boundaries of improvised music, offering listeners a profound and innovative exploration of jazz improvisation.
