TWAIN WALKING is the second album by Danish trombonist Lis Wessberg, released on April 12, 2024, under April Records. The album blends the warm tones of New Orleans jazz with the reflective ambiance of ECM and an innovative compositional approach inspired by Radiohead. Wessberg, known for her breath-like approach to the trombone, creates melodic lines reminiscent of the human voice. The album also features vocal contributions from Estonian singer Karmen Rõivassepp on tracks 'Behind the Walls' and 'Like a Sparrow', adding a melancholic and reflective tone.
