Cedric Burnside is an American blues guitarist, drummer, and vocalist, born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He is the grandson of renowned blues musician R.L. Burnside. Burnside began his musical career as a drummer in his grandfather's band and later gained recognition as a guitarist and vocalist. His notable albums include "Descendants of Hill Country" (2015), "Benton County Relic" (2018), and "I Be Trying" (2021), which won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.
