Chad Fowler and WC Anderson are American jazz musicians known for their collaboration on the 2020 album "Lacrimosa." Recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, each musician recorded their parts separately in isolation, resulting in a collection of spontaneously improvised compositions reflecting the moods and challenges of that time. Released under the Mahakala Music label, the album is characterized by an avant-garde jazz style. Chad Fowler is a saxophonist who previously collaborated with the improvisational group Dopolarians, while WC Anderson is a percussionist and longtime student of drummer Alvin Fielder.
