Charles Dutoit is a renowned Swiss conductor who led the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM) from 1977 to 2002. Under his leadership, the orchestra gained international acclaim and recorded over 85 albums. Notable recordings include Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" and P. I. Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake." In 1996, they won a Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording for Berlioz's "Les Troyens." Dutoit and the OSM also collaborated with prominent soloists such as pianist Martha Argerich.
