Chris Shiflett is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist for the rock band Foo Fighters, which he joined in 1999. In addition to his work with Foo Fighters, he was a member of punk bands No Use for a Name and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. In 2010, he formed the project Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants, releasing albums "Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants" (2010) and "All Hat and No Cattle" (2013). In 2017, he released his solo album "West Coast Town," recorded in Nashville with producer Dave Cobb. His musical style blends elements of country and rock.
