Chris Whitley was an American singer and guitarist known for his unique style blending blues, rock, and alternative genres. Over his 25-year career, he released 17 albums, including his 1991 debut "Living with the Law" and 1998's "Dirt Floor." He collaborated with producer Malcolm Burn and Australian guitarist Jeff Lang. His daughter, Trixie Whitley, is also a musician. Whitley passed away in 2005 at the age of 45.
