Christian Rieger is a German harpsichordist and music educator, renowned for his interpretations of Baroque music. He studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland. Rieger specializes in works by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann, and George Frideric Handel. He has released several albums, including "Improvisations on Basso Continuo" and "Bach: Harpsichord Concertos". In addition to his solo career, he serves as a professor of harpsichord at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen.
