Christina Pluhar is an Austrian musician specializing in the theorbo, harp, and baroque guitar. In 2000, she founded the ensemble L'Arpeggiata, focusing on 17th-century music and often blending baroque compositions with jazz improvisations. Notable albums include "La Tarantella: Antidotum Tarantulae" (2002), "Los Impossibles" (2007), and "Monteverdi: Teatro d'Amore" (2009). The ensemble has gained international acclaim for its innovative approaches to historical music. Pluhar also teaches baroque harp at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
