Christoph Koncz is an Austrian-Hungarian violinist and conductor born in 1987 in Konstanz. He began violin lessons at the age of four and entered the Vienna University of Music at six. At 12, he debuted as a soloist with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. In 2008, at 20, he was appointed principal second violinist of the Vienna Philharmonic, a position he held until 2023. In 2020, he released the album "Mozart's Violin: The Complete Violin Concertos," performing on Mozart's original violin. Koncz is renowned for his interpretations of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's works and has collaborated with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre de Paris.
