Claus Efland is a Danish conductor known for his specialization in Nordic music. He studied at the Royal College of Music in London and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. In 2004, he won second place at the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition in London. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, and Sinfonietta Rīga. His recordings include "Concertante: Virtuosic Wind Concertos" and "Nordic Atmospheres." Efland is recognized for his interpretations of works by composers like Carl Nielsen, Edvard Grieg, and Jean Sibelius.
