Clive Nolan is a British musician, composer, and producer known for his role in progressive and symphonic rock. He has been a keyboardist in bands such as Pendragon, Arena, Shadowland, Strangers on a Train, and Caamora. He is the author and lyricist of numerous rock albums and musicals, including the rock opera "She" and the Victorian steampunk musicals "Alchemy" and "King's Ransom". In 2021, he released "Song of the Wildlands", a secular oratorio based on the Old English epic "Beowulf", combining elements of rock, progressive rock, folk, and classical music. The album was recorded during the 2020 pandemic and features vocalists and instrumentalists from the UK and Norway, as well as a 200-voice choir singing in Old English.
