Cock Robin is an American pop rock band formed in 1982 in San Francisco. Their 1985 self-titled debut album featured hits like "When Your Heart Is Weak" and "The Promise You Made," which achieved high chart positions across Europe. Subsequent albums "After Here Through Midland" (1987) and "First Love / Last Rites" (1989) solidified their popularity in Europe. The band disbanded in 1990 but reunited in 2006 under the leadership of singer-songwriter Peter Kingsbery. Their music blends elements of pop rock and new wave.
