Cody Jinks is an American singer-songwriter from Haltom City, Texas. Originally a member of the thrash metal band Unchecked Aggression, he transitioned to country music. His 2016 album "I'm Not the Devil" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. In 2019, he released two albums, "After the Fire" and "The Wanting," both reaching No. 2 on the same chart. Jinks is known for his approach to outlaw country and southern rock. In 2024, he released a remastered version of his album "30" titled "Backside of 30," featuring an additional track, "When the New Wears Off."
