Deinonychus is a Dutch doom metal band formed in 1992 by Marco Kehren. Their debut album, "The Silence of December," was released in 1995 under Cacophonous Records. The band is known for its unique sound that blends elements of black and doom metal. Notable albums include "The Weeping of a Thousand Years" (1996) and "Mournument" (2002). Deinonychus collaborated with members of the German band Bethlehem, with Kehren providing vocals on some of their albums.
