Coke Escovedo was an American percussionist best known as a member of the band Santana during the 1970s. After leaving Santana, he formed his band Azteca, which blended salsa, funk, and jazz elements. Escovedo released several solo albums, including 'Comin' At Ya' and 'Coke'. His music incorporates elements of funk, soul, and jazz, creating an energetic sound. The brother of Pete Escovedo, also a prominent percussionist, Coke contributed his talent to several notable musical projects. Azteca is still recognized today for its influence on Latin music.
