Cold Sun was a psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas, active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band was founded by Billy Bill Miller (autoharp, vocals) and Tom McGarrigle (guitar). They recorded the album "Dark Shadows" in 1970, which was not released at the time. The album was first released in 1990 and has since been reissued several times. Cold Sun's music is known for its unique sound, combining psychedelic elements with experimental autoharp sounds. Miller later collaborated with Roky Erickson in his band The Aliens.
