Coldborn is a Belgian black metal project founded by Norgaath, known for his work with bands such as Enthroned, Nightbringer, and Grimfaug. The debut album, "Lingering Voidwards," was released in 2016, followed by "The Unwritten Pages of Death" in 2024. Coldborn's music combines atmospheric black metal with elements of doom metal, utilizing acoustic guitars and subtle synthesizers to create a deep atmosphere. Norgaath is responsible for guitars, bass, keyboards, and vocals, with drums contributed by Menthor. The project is known for its live performances, where Norgaath serves as the lead vocalist, supported by four other musicians.
