Coma World is a British musical duo comprising drummer Maxwell Hallett, known as Betamax (member of The Comet Is Coming and Soccer96), and bassist Pete Bennie from Speaker's Corner Quartet. Their music blends elements of dub, jazz, and electronic genres, focusing on experimentation and spontaneity. Their debut album, "Coma World," was released in 2021 under the Byrd Out label and was inspired by a friend's experience of being in a coma. In 2023, they released their second album, "Coma Wong," collaborating with graphic and sound artist Raimund Wong.
