Conception is a Norwegian progressive metal band formed in 1989 in Raufoss, Norway. The band consists of vocalist Roy Khan, guitarist Tore Østby, bassist Ingar Amlien, and drummer Arve Heimdal. Their debut album, "The Last Sunset," was released in 1991, followed by "Parallel Minds" (1993), "In Your Multitude" (1995), and "Flow" (1997). After disbanding in 1997, the band reunited in 2018 and released the EP "My Dark Symphony." Conception is known for their unique blend of progressive and power metal with influences from flamenco and classical music. The products available from the artist Conception include CDs.
