Cords is a Dutch alternative guitar band known for their rough, melodic songs. Fronted by singer and guitarist Simone Holsbeek, the band was formed in 1990 and includes members Arnoudt Pieters (drums), Jacqueline Peters (bass guitar), and Marzel Morsink (guitar). In 1993, they released their debut album "Taurus No Bull" under the American label TVT Records. Their music combines elements of alternative rock, indie rock, and noise rock. In 2020, they released the compilation "Stargazer (Best of 1990-1999)", featuring remastered tracks from their previous albums.
