Cosmic Gate is a German DJ duo consisting of Claus Terhoeven (Nic Chagall) and Stefan Bossems (DJ Bossi). Formed in 1999 in Krefeld, Germany, they released their debut album "Rhythm & Drums" in 2001, featuring the hit "Fire Wire," which reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. Other notable albums include "No More Sleep" (2002), "Earth Mover" (2006), and "Sign of the Times" (2009). In 2018, they received a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording for their work on Gabriel & Dresden's "Only Road." Their musical style encompasses trance, techno, and progressive.
