Lloyd 'Cowboy' Copas was an American country singer known for his high baritone voice. He began his career in the late 1930s and signed with King Records in 1946. His notable songs include 'Filipino Baby', 'Signed, Sealed And Delivered', and 'Alabam'. Copas was recognized for his versatility, recording with Elliot Lawrence's big band and experimenting with rockabilly. He died in a plane crash on March 5, 1963, alongside Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins.
