Cult Leader is an American hardcore punk band from Salt Lake City, Utah, formed in 2013 by former members of the band Gaza. Their debut album, "Lightless Walk," was released in 2015, followed by "A Patient Man" in 2018. Their music blends elements of metalcore, sludge metal, and grindcore. The band collaborated with producer Kurt Ballou of Converge on both albums. In 2022, they released the split EP "Gather & Mourn" with the band End.
