Cultura Profética is a Puerto Rican reggae band formed in 1996. Original members Willy Rodríguez (bass guitar, vocals), Eliut González (guitar), and Omar Silva (guitar, bass guitar) have remained with the band throughout its history. While primarily playing reggae, they have experimented with bossa nova, tango, jazz, and salsa. Their lyrics address socio-political and ecological issues, as well as interpersonal relationships and love. They released their debut album, "Canción de Alerta," in 1998, followed by "Ideas Nuevas" (2000), "Diario" (2002), "M.O.T.A." (2005), "La Dulzura" (2010), and "Sobrevolando" (2019).
