Cyminology is a Berlin-based jazz quartet formed in 2002. The group is led by vocalist Cymin Samawatie, who sings in Persian and draws from classical Persian poetry. Their music blends chamber jazz with Persian musical influences. Notable albums include "As Ney" (2009), "Bemun" (2006), and "Saburi" (2011).
