Czerwone Gitary is a Polish rock band formed in January 1965 in Gdańsk. The original lineup included Jerzy Kossela, Krzysztof Klenczon, Bernard Dornowski, Jerzy Skrzypczyk, and Henryk Zomerski. Their debut album, "To właśnie my," released in 1966, sold 160,000 copies. Notable songs include "Nie zadzieraj nosa," "Takie ładne oczy," and "Biały krzyż." In 1969, the band received the MIDEM award in Cannes for the most popular Polish group. During the 1970s, they shifted towards pop music with folk elements.
