Czerwono-Czarni was one of the most popular rock bands in the history of Polish popular music and pioneers of rock and beat music in Poland. The band was founded on June 22, 1960, in Gdańsk and operated until 1976. They were the first Polish rock band to record a rock'n'roll album in 1961. Their most notable songs include "Trzynastego," "O mnie się nie martw," and "Jedziemy autostopem." Throughout their 16-year history, they collaborated with over 70 artists and received numerous awards at festivals in Opole and Sopot.
