Dan Fogelberg was an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his 1970s and 1980s hits such as "Longer," "Same Old Lang Syne," and "Leader of the Band." Throughout his career, he released 16 studio albums, with "The Innocent Age" (1981) featuring three of his four Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. His music blended elements of rock, soft rock, and folk rock. Fogelberg frequently collaborated with jazz flutist Tim Weisberg, releasing the album "Twin Sons of Different Mothers" in 1978.
