Dan Wool is an American composer and sound designer based in San Francisco. He has composed music for over 45 feature films, including nine for director Alex Cox. Wool was the principal composer in the group Pray for Rain. From 2010 to 2021, he collaborated with director Phil Tippett on the film Mad God, for which he was nominated for an Annie Award in 2023 for Best Music in an Animated Feature. Wool has also created music for television projects and themed entertainment attractions. He has collaborated with artists such as Bernie Worrell and Debbie Harry.
