Robert Thompson, known professionally as Dandy, is a Jamaican singer and songwriter who began his career in the 1960s. He recorded for the Carnival label, where he formed the duo Sugar & Dandy with Keith Foster. Their album 'The Ska's The Limit' features hits like 'What A Life!' and 'Let's Ska'. After Carnival ceased operations in 1965, Dandy continued recording for labels such as Melodisc and R&B, and later joined Trojan Records in 1968.
