Daniel Cavanagh is an English guitarist and singer who co-founded the British band Anathema in 1990 with his brother Vincent. He serves as the band's principal songwriter, contributing to genres such as progressive rock, alternative rock, and gothic metal. Beyond Anathema, Cavanagh has been involved in projects like Leafblade and Antimatter. In 2017, he released his debut solo album, 'Monochrome', featuring tracks like 'The Exorcist' and 'The Silent Flight of the Raven Winged Hours'. The album was recorded at Parr Street Studios and includes collaborations with Anneke van Giersbergen and violinist Anna Phoebe.
