Daniele Gatti is an Italian conductor who graduated in composition and conducting from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. He has served as Music Director of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and Orchestra Mozart, and from 2024, he is the Chief Conductor of the Staatskapelle Dresden. Gatti has held prestigious positions at institutions such as the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He has collaborated with orchestras including the Berliner Philharmoniker and Wiener Philharmoniker. In 2015, he was awarded the Premio Abbiati as Best Conductor, and in 2016, he was named Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur by the French Republic.
