Danny Elfman is an American composer, singer, and musician, born on May 29, 1953, in Los Angeles. He began his career as the lead vocalist and songwriter for the band Oingo Boingo. Since 1985, he has composed music for over 100 films, including "Batman," "Edward Scissorhands," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," and "Big Fish." His music is known for its unique style, and he frequently collaborates with director Tim Burton. Elfman is also the composer of the theme song for the television series "The Simpsons."
