Danny & The Juniors were an American doo-wop and rock and roll vocal group formed in 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally consisting of Danny Rapp, Dave White, Frank Maffei, and Joe Terranova, the group is best known for their 1957 hit "At the Hop," which reached number one on the Billboard chart, and the 1958 follow-up "Rock and Roll Is Here to Stay." Their music combined elements of doo-wop and rock and roll, contributing to the popularization of these genres in the 1950s. In 2003, they were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
