Danny Wilson was a Scottish pop band active in the 1980s. The group consisted of Gary Clark, Kit Clark, and Ged Grimes. Their 1987 debut album, "Meet Danny Wilson," featured the hit "Mary's Prayer," which reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart. They followed up with "Bebop Moptop" in 1989. After disbanding, the members pursued various musical projects. Ged Grimes later joined the band Simple Minds.
