Darone Sassounian is a DJ, producer, and compiler from Los Angeles who runs the label Rocky Hill. In 2021, he released the compilation "Silk Road: Journey of the Armenian Diaspora: 1971 - 1982" on Terrestrial Funk. In 2022, he began releasing his solo projects on Rocky Hill, including the "Prerequisite" series and the "Goes On" EP. Sassounian has held a monthly residency at Los Angeles' Club Tee Gee since 2019 and started an online radio residency at Dublab in 2023.
